Raval Luxury Restaurant & Bar is located on Gateshead Quays between the world famous Sage Gateshead and the Newcastle Gateshead Hilton hotel. Our prominent position at the foot of the landmark Tyne Bridge makes us impossible to miss.
By Car
From the A1(M)/A1: Take the exit signposted Gateshead and Newcastle Centre A184 (from the South) or Gateshead A184 (from the North).
Stay in the left-hand lane of the A184 signposted Gateshead Town Centre.
At the roundabout, take the third exit and follow the road through two sets of traffic lights.
At the third set, turn left and follow the road down the side of the Hilton Hotel (on the left-hand side of the Tyne Bridge).
Turn right at the traffic lights and follow the road round underneath the bridge to find Church Street on your right.
From Newcastle City Centre: At the far end of the Tyne Bridge turn left onto Church Street before the pedestrian crossing.
Raval is immediately on your right.
By Rail
The nearest metro station is the Gateshead Interchange (one stop from Newcastle Central Station).
On leaving Gateshead Interchange, exit onto West Street. Turn left and walk down to the traffic lights. Turn right onto Askew Road and then left at the next traffic lights located the end of the Tyne Bridge. Raval is situated on your right, next door to Century Radio on Church Street.
By Air
Raval is a 25 minute drive from Newcastle International Airport. A direct Metro link is available from the airport to Gateshead Interchange then walk to Raval (see above) or take a taxi.
Parking
The Church Street car park (Pay & Display) is located opposite Raval and has 50 spaces. Alternatively, The Sage Gateshead has a multi-storey car park (fixed evening charge of £2.40) which is situated on Oakwellgate, directly behind Raval.
