This afternoon Raval took part in a live cooking demo as part of this year's EAT! NewcastleGateshead festival. Crowds gathered outside Newcastle's Grainger Market to witness our chefs rustling up a special spiced sea bass dish, with each step of the process narrated for budding cooks among the audience. Using fresh, locally-sourced ingredients our chefs treated the eager audience to a delicious sample of our award-winning cuisine which was served with a mouth watering blend of tamarind, garlic, tomato and curry leaves.
The annual festival of adventures in food and drink celebrates the North East's best producers, chefs and restaurants, with a varied programme of food related events and experiences.
