Nearly Two Decades of Recognition
Raval’s recognition did not begin with one recent award.
Since opening in 2007, the restaurant has received awards, reviews and media attention throughout different stages of its history.
From early regional recognition and national curry awards through to Asian restaurant honours, independent diner recognition and ultimately becoming National Champion of the British Indian Good Food Guide, each milestone forms part of Raval’s continuing journey.
Awards and restaurant guides may change, but Raval’s purpose remains the same: to offer distinctive Indian dining with warm North East hospitality from our home beside the Tyne Bridge.
